We believe it is our duty to continue the mission and are privileged to share in the creation of health, healing, resiliency, connectivity, and personal growth opportunities throughout the Military-Veteran, Emergency Service-Public Safety, and Family population.
Amy B. Otzel is a warrior of wellness who moves with a purpose! Amy’s personal journey to inspire her own health recovery and the healing from trauma has enhanced her endeavor to contribute forward in healing service to others. After serving as a U.S. Army Behavioral Health Sergeant both in garrison and the combat theater, Amy went on to earn Master degrees in Psychology, Professional Mental Health Counseling, and Integrative Health & Healing as well as advanced teacher certifications in Breath~Body~Mind ™ and Holistic Stress Management. Following 6 years as a clinician with the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs, she range walked into a new area of operations. In private practice at Inner Resource Psychotherapy, Amy is an advocate of natural and vitalistic methods for balancing wellness and is committed to holistically-minded strengths and empowerment-based mental health counseling continuing the mission supporting Military Members, Veterans, and their Families. With emphasis on conditions of trauma and stress, Amy regularly offers professional development education and is a Lecturer for the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.
